Spring Break Fun
Staycation Ideas for Gwinnett County
Spring Break April 6-11, 2015

Spring break is right around the corner (yay!) and although it’s fun to travel, sometimes that isn’t always possible. It’s called a Staycation. So, we wanted to give you some ideas of fun things to do with your family right here in Gwinnett!

Stone Mountain

If you are from Gwinnett, chances are you’ve been to Stone Mountain for the laser show many times, but have you ever gone for their Spring Break fun week? Our family visited last year and it was so great! From their ropes course (one of the largest in the country), SkyHike, to Geyser Towers to riding the ducks, they’ve got stuff for the whole family. This year they even have new exhibits: Rio: the 4D Experience and an extreme parrots show. Count us in!

Gwinnett Gladiators

If you haven’t been to a Gwinnett Gladiators hockey game before, you should. They are a blast! On April 8th, the Gladiators close out their season at home so that would be the time to go!

The Gwinnett Braves

If you can’t make it to the Gladiators game, don’t worry, the Gwinnett Braves kickoff their season the very next day. What is better than a baseball game on a beautiful spring day? The great part about the Gwinnett Braves is it’s close, cheaper and less traffic (but we would recommend the Atlanta Braves too!).

Repticon

Maybe you are looking for something a little different to do this spring break. Well, this is different: Repticon is a reptile show at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. If reptiles fascinate you, this could be really cool! It takes place April 11-12th and tickets start at only $5!
